Der Schwerpunkt meiner wissenschaftlichen Tätigkeit liegt auf dem Gebiet der zementfreien Hüft-Endoprothetik. Vor allem beschäftigen mich die Haltbarkeit von künstlichen Hüftgelenken und ihre Auswirkungen auf den menschlichen Organismus.
